It has become an annual time to gather together as Christians to remember our Lord Jesus Christ's death on the Cross at Wesley, led by Rev Huw Sperring, followed by the Walk of Witness and ending with refreshments at Wesley
Walk of Witness with Low Fell Churches Together will meet in the Lowery Lane Car Park in Low Fell, behind the church, at 11.00am
It is a mile long and stops several times for Good Friday readings and some hymns
Lent meetings for Sheriff Hill, Wesley, St Marks’s and Kibblesworth Methodist Churches
All are welcome to come along to Sheriff Hill for the next five Tuesdays during Lent
from Tuesday 12 March at 1.30pm.
We will study a course produced by the Methodist Church called ‘Talking of god Together’

Join us for our yearly Candlelight Carol Service (Please note the date it’s a week earlier than usual)

The Wesley Worship Singers will sing "Colours of Christmas” & lead us into an evening of festive carols with Richard Jennings playing the organ
Followed by festive refreshments, including Mince Pies!
Join us at our yearly Gift Service, led by Local Preacher Mr Beal.
Supporting the local Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal.
Donations of new unwrapped toys and gifts for children & young people would be greatly appreciated.
The gifts will then be wrapped and distributed to those in need.
Plus the lighting of the Second Advent Candle
The whole family are welcome to the Christingle factory from 3.00pm in the Main Hall to prepare the christingles.
Hot & cold drinks are provided, feel free to bring along a bite to eat.
Followed by a short service at 4-4.30pm
Led by Rev Huw Sperring and Wesley Worship Singers.
Come & join us as we celebrate Harvest along with the uniformed organisations.
We are collecting donations for the Peoples Kitchen a big thank you in advance for your continued support.
tea, coffee, instant drinking chocolate, sugar, long life milk,
biscuit, jams, golden syrup, honey,
tins of; meat, soup, beans, rice, peaches, fruit cocktail, apricots,
vegetables & fruit would be gratefully received.
