One year ago today, it was my turn to write a letter to you all for the first time, on behalf of the Bede Circuit staff. Today, one year on from the beginning of the first lockdown has been called a Day of Reflection.

O ye, of little faith’, how often we have heard that expression. A person has happy expectations, perhaps beyond his or her wildest dreams. And another person usually a friend cast doubts on their expectations. The happy person then says ‘O ye, of little faith’.

We may well have all felt well and truly tested, but it is my prayer that each of us through this testing will know the God who seeks us first ….
